(24 feet long x 8 feet wide x 8 feet tall) – 14 pickup trucks
Our largest dumpster container is our 40 cubic yard roll off. It measures 8 feet wide and 24 feet long, with side walls reaching 8 feet tall. It has a back access panel, so you can easily walk in your trash and load it front to back. The 40 cubic yard capacity is the equivalent of about 14 pickup loads of trash or up to 250 contractor bags full of waste. This massive dumpster can handle up to 6 tons (12,000 pounds) of waste. Be sure not to exceed this weight limit, as we are unable to transport heavier loads on our roads and highways.
Rental of a 40-yard dumpster starts at $500 and can range up to $850. We start your quote with our flat rate. This includes the basic rental charge, dump fee, and all taxes. We have a generous weight limit on our 40-yard dumpster of 4 tons. If you exceed this weight, we may not be able to transport your dumpster. If it is weighed over 6 tons at the landfill, you will be subject to an overweight charge. If you have heavy waste, talk with us when you order to ensure you get the right size dumpster for your job.

Because of the size of these dumpsters, the answer is likely yes. 40 yard bins are our largest size and will not fit on most standard driveways. Dumpsters that cannot fit on private property will likely need street placement, which requires permits. You can contact your local City of Atlanta to get more information on permits, and we also have our own permit info on our site.
As much as we wish we could accommodate all delivery time frame requests, Discount Dumpster is unable to guarantee any specific times. Our windows are 6 AM - 6 PM, Monday through Friday. You are welcome to place requests for certain times, just know it isn't necessarily guaranteed.
In short, no. Electronics and batteries are considered hazardous materials and landfills will not accept them. You can take old electronics to an e-waste recycling services for proper disposal.
Overfilling a dumpster can prove hazardous during transportation, for any dumpster size. Due to this, our haulers will refuse to pickup any dumpster that is filled too high. Once pickup is refused, you will be charged a costly trip fee on top of your rental costs.
