Need to rent a dumpster? Discount Dumpster has your waste management needs met with our wide variety of cheap, easy-to-rent roll off dumpsters! If you’re new to dumpster renting, don’t worry!
We simplify dumpster rental into an easy, 5-step process:
Restaurant Demolition – Construction waste – Old furniture – Recycling – Home renovation – Theater props – Moving – Window replacements
Junk removal companies deal with specialty items like certain appliances but can be pricier for multiple trips. Dumpster rentals come in multiple sizes and store much more waste, making them better for large-scale or long-term projects. They are cheaper, but some items cannot be stored in them. We also deliver our dumpsters directly to your site and offer a flat rate for a two-week rental, allowing you to work when you want rather than when a junk removal company can fit you in.
Dumpster rentals are priced based on a multitude of factors, including client location and the size of the dumpster. We offer a flat-rate price for 2-week rental periods, and this price includes dumpster delivery and pickup, as well as any additional fees and taxes. Once a dumpster is returned, its weight is measured, and an additional charge will be incurred if the weight exceeds an agreed-upon amount. Extraneous conditions, such as severe weather and snow, may incur further fees.
Generally, you will be storing your dumpster on your property for residential projects. In neighborhoods like Southmost and Russeltown, this does not require a permit. However, some homeowners associations require permits for all projects in a neighborhood.
Larger construction projects may not afford you the luxury of storing your dumpster on a residential driveway. In this instance, you may need to store the dumpster in the street, potentially blocking public roads. Because of this, you will likely need a right-of-way permit from the city to avoid a fine.

Many state, local, and federal regulations exist to control what can and cannot go in a dumpster and how this waste must be stored. Certain materials, such as asphalt, must be recycled. If you are planning on throwing away any amount of asphalt, you must order a special, dedicated dumpster to store it. Haulers will typically not take regular dumpsters if they have asphalt in them, since asphalt is heavy and will likely exceed safe weight limits for travel. Similarly, using these specialty dumpsters to store anything other than asphalt will result in an additional fee with every dumpster provider.
Other items, such as most electronics, are also recycled. However, these often have additional restrictions due to potentially hazardous materials.
For example, the chemicals produced by air conditioners and batteries can be very harmful to both the environment and people. By the same token, oils and certain stains, such as those from mold, can be toxic and must be specially disposed of.
While certain cities may have different restrictions, there are some items that can never be stored in a dumpster. These include:
Local landfills have specific requirements which we must adhere to. Ignoring these rules could mean a pickup rejection and costly additional fees.
A dry-run fee is an additional charge tacked onto your bill in the case that a pickup driver arrives at the dumpster site but cannot pick it up for any reason.
Your dumpster pickup will be rejected if the contents are above the fill line. Once the contents are lowered below the fill line, pickup will proceed as normal, and a dry-run fee may be charged due to the rejection.
