If your work area is on public property or you plan to place your dumpster on the street, you may need a permit from Orange County. In most cases, permits are necessary only when a dumpster encroaches on a public right-of-way. The best way to figure out whether you need a permit is to contact the Orange County government.

There are environmental regulations and local rules that control what can and cannot go in your rental dumpster. Hazardous materials are not allowed and include:
Mattresses and box springs may be allowed, but please notify us if you plan on throwing them away. There is an extra charge for this.
You may be able to take some items to Orange County drop-off sites or transfer stations as alternate disposal options. Some materials, including electronics and asphalt, often qualify for recycling programs.
