Permits are only needed from the City of Houston for dumpster placements on public property, such as a street 0r right-of-way. Private property placements, such as on your driveway, do not need permits from the city. However, if your property is governed by any kind of HOA, you must secure their permission first before you can proceed with delivery.
Unfortunately, Discount Dumpster cannot guarantee any specific delivery or pickup times. Our standard windows for delivery and pickup are 6 AM - 6 PM, Monday through Friday. You are welcome to put in a request and our team will do the absolute best they can to meet your needs!
A 10 yard dumpster is the ideal size for most residential projects such as yard waste cleanup or simple junk removal. We would not recommend reserving a 10 yard bin for heavy-duty construction, as this is our smallest dumpster size.
An overfilled dumpster will not be picked up by our hauler. Doing so will pose safety risks to the public during transport. Once pickup is refused, a costly trip fee will be charged to your account.
An overweight dumpster will have additional fees tacked on per extra ton, once the bin is weighed at the transfer station.
