We base the price of your dumpster by size and weight. Each dumpster is flat rate priced with absolutely no hidden fees. Pickup and delivery are free. The only reason you could have extra charges are if you overfill it, put in hazardous materials, or if you need it for longer than 2 weeks. Other than that, all taxes and fees are included the price that our representative will give you.
If you are renting a 10 yard dumpster, which typically measures 14’ long X 7.5’ wide X 3.5’ tall, it will probably fit in your driveway or on your property, so you may not need a permit. It’s always a good idea to check with the town government and your neighborhood HOA. But for many residential projects in Fairfield, Braemar, or other Zebulon neighborhoods, it’s fairly easy to avoid the hassle of applying for a permit.
If you rent a larger dumpster that only fits on a public street, you may need a right-of-way permit. These permits are generally necessary when the container will obstruct public access to a sidewalk, alley, greenway, utility ditch, or road, but they’re typically inexpensive. Zebulon and Wake County, NC, are especially careful about what goes into the local landfills. County regulations follow EPA guidelines and are designed to keep the community and environment safe. North Carolina has numerous environmental-protection programs and several recycling options. If you have hazardous materials (automotive parts, electronics, batteries, loose glass, medical equipment, harsh chemicals, or appliances with Freon) that can’t go in your roll off bin, contact Discount Dumpster for information on other recycling or disposal options.
SOD is also prohibited for disposal. Box springs can only be accepted in construction and demolition dumpsters. Mattresses are allowed only in home cleanup containers. An additional $50 will be added to the final price of any C&D dumpster with mattresses in them.
