It has a capacity of 10 cubic yards, which is about 4 pickup loads of waste. You can fit about 50-60 large trash bags full of debris in this compact dumpster. It has a weight limit of 2 to 3 tons. That’s 4,000 - 6,000 pounds of trash that can fit in this dumpster. This dumpster fits easily on a driveway, making it convenient for a home cleanup project.
The cost of your rental dumpster in Kansas City depends on your exact location, availability, and the type of debris you’re discarding. Our 10-yard dumpster costs $440 to $586. This covers the cost of the rental, all dump fees, and any taxes. Delivery and pickup are free. When you call to order your dumpster, we’ll put together a quote. We can customize your quote to offer a solution for heavy material that could exceed the weight limit for your rental roll off container. If you do exceed the weight allowance, there could be an extra charge.

If your dumpster can rest neatly on your private property, then you usually do not need a permit from Kansas City. Permits are only required if you need to place your dumpster on a street or other right-of-way. However, if your property is governed by any HOA, we advise you to secure their permission first before arranging placement.
Discount Dumpster can make no guarantees regarding delivery or pickup times. Our standard delivery window is 6 AM - 6 PM, Monday through Friday, unless specified otherwise. You are welcome to put in a request for certain delivery/pickup times, just know it is not guaranteed.
A 10 yard dumpster is the ideal size for most residential projects such as yard waste cleanup or simple junk removal. We would not recommend reserving a 10 yard bin for heavy-duty construction, as this is our smallest dumpster size.
Any dumpster that is overfilled will not be picked up by our hauler come pickup day. Transporting an overfilled dumpster poses hazards to motorists and pedestrians. In the case of a pickup rejection, you will be charged a costly trip fee on top of your rental costs.
An overweight dumpster will add on additional charges per extra-ton to your final bill.
