(16 feet long x 8 feet wide x 4 feet tall) – 6 pickup trucks
A 15 yard dumpster fits nicely on a residential driveway. It measures 8 by 16 feet, with 4 feet high sides. It can handle lots of trash, while still being easy to load. The 15 cubic yard capacity holds the equivalent of 90 full trash bags. This is about 6 pickup truck loads of waste. It has a generous weight allowance of 2.5 to 3.5 tons of trash. This equals 5,000 to 7,000 pounds of waste.
The cost of a 15 yard dumpster rental in Kansas City ranges from $450 to $600. Each of our dumpster rental quotes starts with an affordable flat rate. This is all-inclusive and covers the rental fee, all taxes, and delivery and pickup. You don’t have to worry about hidden fees or taxes tacked on at the end of your job. You’ll have all the charges listed upfront. Each dumpster size has a set weight limit. Be sure to keep your load under that amount. If your dumpster exceeds that weight allowance when it is weighed at the landfill, there will be an added charge.

Kansas City only requires permits for dumpsters that need street placement, or must rest on a public right-of-way. Dumpsters reserved for private property do not need to secure a permit from Kansas City authorities. However, if your property is under the umbrella of an HOA, you will need to make sure placing a dumpster on your property will not violate any of their bylaws.
We cannot guarantee specific delivery or pickup times. You are welcome to put in a request for specific times and we will accommodate the request to the best of our ability. Keep in mind, our delivery/pickup windows are 6 AM -6 PM, Monday through Friday. Due to logistical reasons, we are unable to guarantee specific timeframes, yet we will certainly do our best to make it work!
15 yard dumpsters are great for residential projects that might require a little extra space. If you need to clear tree branches, remove siding, or undergo and large landscaping project, a 15 yard dumpster in Kansas City is perfect for you. We wouldn't recommend using a 15 yard dumpster for large commercial work such as construction and demolition. This bin is only slightly larger than a 10 yard dumpster. For more-heavy duty projects, a 20 yard dumpster would be a better option.
Any overfilled dumpster will not be picked up by our drivers come pickup day. Dumpsters should never be filled past its given fill line. Once pickup has been rejected, you will charged a costly trip fee.
Overweight dumpsters will have additional charges per extra ton it is overweight, which you will be responsible for. Monitor your debris carefully and how much you toss into your dumpster to avoid the extra landfill fees.
