Since 2018, our dumpsters have helped our community in Long Beach get rid of trash from households, storefronts, and construction sites. We are proud to help our friends and neighbors get their work done and keep their spaces clean and safe.
If you are doing a total renovation of your kitchen, a junk hauler can pick up your old appliances, like your microwave, refrigerator, or dishwasher. A junk removal company is able to take your waste to a recycling center for proper disposal.
For other projects that require ongoing waste removal services, a roll off dumpster rental will save you money. You can fit a lot into one of our rental containers.
It’s convenient to have an on-site trash container so you can work around your schedule and not feel rushed. You also don't have to wait on other people's schedules to get rid of your junk.
We can deliver dumpsters all around the Long Beach area, including:

If you're placing your dumpster on private property, like your driveway, you most likely won't need a permit. However, we recommend checking with your HOA to make sure dumpster placements on your property are allowed.
A public works permit is required if you plan to place a dumpster on a public right-of way: a city street, cul-de-sac, or alley. Additionally, placement on a sidewalk usually requires a permit.
You will need to fill out an application at the Long Beach Public Works Department, which is located at City Hall. The address is 411 W. Ocean Blvd. on the 10th Floor. The phone number is 562-570-6555.
We can’t accept hazardous materials in our containers, such as:
Fortunately, all residents of Long Beach and Los Angeles County have access to free disposal of hazardous waste at a local HHW collection event.
You can also visit the Los Angeles County EDCO Recycling and Transfer Environmental Collection Center at 2755 California Ave., Signal Hill, CA 90755. You can also contact the Gaffey Street S.A.F.E. Center at 1400 N. Gaffey St., San Pedro, CA 90731. Call 800-98-TOXIC (86942) for more information and operating hours.
Please reduce, reuse, and recycle. If you have any questions, you can contact the Long Beach Recycles Environmental Services Bureau at 526-570-2876. The address is 2929 East Willow Street.
Appliances, commonly known as white goods, cannot go into a landfill. These machines can contain oil that can leach into groundwater and/or Freon that is released into the air.
The best option is to contact a specialty appliance collection service that can remove the harmful chemicals before disposal. Smaller appliances such as microwaves, rice cookers, coffee and slow cookers have circuit boards in them. Recycling is usually the safest option.
Unfortunately, televisions can cause problems if they’re disposed of in a landfill. Older TVs contain hazardous substances such as lead, beryllium, and cadmium, and some of them have cathode ray tubes. Newer flat-screen TVs aren’t suitable for disposal in a dumpster either because they usually contain mercury, which is hazardous.
If your TV works, consider donating it to a charitable organization. Non-functional televisions can be recycled through the California Electronics Recycling program. Call 800-282-3927 for information.
Did you know that approximately 30 million mattresses end up in landfills every year? They are not exactly biodegradable, and the springs from both mattresses and box springs can damage the lining of a landfill. The lining is important because it keeps dangerous substances from leaking into the ground.
Recycling is the way to go for mattresses and box springs. The soft material and the springs are recycled, and the frame of the box spring becomes wood chips.
We also have a blog on breaking mattresses down for disposal, if needed.
Long Beach has a wonderful program to keep tires out of local landfills. As a resident, you can dispose of up to five passenger car tires for free through the Special Collection program, and you can take advantage of this free service four times a year. You have to schedule the collection by calling 562-570-2876 or by submitting your request online.
