(12 feet long x 6 feet wide x 4 feet tall) – 4 pickup trucks
Our compact 10-yard dumpsters measure 6 feet wide by 12 feet long by 4 feet tall. This size dumpster container holds up to 10 cubic yards of waste. This is the equivalent of about 4 pickup truck loads of trash or 60 trash bags full. The weight limit on our 10-yard dumpster is 2 to 3 tons (4,000 – 6,000 pounds). The weight of your load depends on the type of waste you’re disposing of and how compacted the trash is.
The cost of a 10-yard dumpster rental in Denver depends on several factors. Your quote begins with our low flat rate, determined by the size of the container and your location. On average, a 10-yard dumpster is about $350 to $450. This includes delivery, pickup, taxes, and the landfill fees. This base rate also includes a generous weight allowance and our standard rental period. If you have particularly heavy waste or need the dumpster a few more days, this can add to the cost. We generate an accurate quote when you call to order your dumpster, so all your costs are listed upfront, allowing you to budget accurately.

Permits are only needed if your dumpster needs to be placed on the street or other public right-of-way. A 10 yard dumpster can easily fit on a standard driveway, which prevents the need for a permit from the City of Denver.
Discount Dumpster cannot guarantee specific delivery times. Our drop-off and pickup windows range from 6 AM -6 PM, Monday through Friday.
10 yard dumpsters in Denver are ideal for residential projects such as decluttering, yard waste removal, and and small home repairs. A 10 yard can hold up to 2 tons of waste and debris, which makes it ideal for most residential uses. For larger commercial projects, we would recommend going with a bigger size like a 20 yard dumpster.
An overfilled dumpster will not be picked up by our hauler come pickup day. Debris can fall off the dumpster during transport, which puts motorists and pedestrians at risk. This, in turn, will result in a costly trip fee that you will be responsible for.
Overweight dumpsters will have additional charges applied per extra ton once they are weighed at the landfill. These charges will then be billed to you.
