(24 feet long x 8 feet wide x 8 feet tall) – 14 pickup trucks
Our massive 40-yard dumpster container measures 24 feet long and 8 feet wide. The sides stand 8 feet tall. There is a swinging back door to access the container, letting you load it from front to back. This makes it easy to handle bulky or heavy debris. This 40-yard container holds the equivalent of 14 pickup loads of trash. That’s about 250 extra-large trash bags full. The weight capacity for our 40-yard dumpster is 5 to 6 tons (10,000 to 12,000 pounds).
On average, a 40-yard rental dumpster in Denver costs $550 to $850. The final cost depends on your location and availability of our inventory. The price of a dumpster rental starts with our all-inclusive flat rate. This price includes all local taxes, the dump fee, and delivery and pickup. We offer a generous weight allowance. However, if the container does go over this weight limit, there will be extra fees charged or you may need to get a second container to accommodate the excess waste.

We certainly hope so! Our 40 yard bins are the largest sizes available in our inventory, so if your project is too big for a 40 yard you may need some help! 40 yard dumpsters are better suited for the largest commercial projects such as construction and demolition work. We wouldn't recommend a 40 yard dumpster for residential work (unless you have a massive property to remodel).
Discount Dumpster cannot guarantee any specific delivery times. Our windows for delivery and pickup are 6 AM - 6 PM, Monday through Friday.
No! Electronics and batteries are considered hazardous and will not break down properly in a landfill. All electronic items must be taken to an e-recycling facility for proper disposal.
You should never fill a dumpster past its fill line. An overfilled dumpster will not be picked up by our hauler, as doing so puts motorists and pedestrians at risk of getting hit by flying trash! Any pickup rejection will automatically add a costly trip fee to your final bill.
