Discount Dumpster cannot guarantee specific delivery times. Our delivery window is usually 6 AM - 6 PM, Monday through Friday. If you do need delivery at a specific time, let our staff know and they will go above and beyond to try and accommodate your needs!
Electronics are prohibited for disposal just about everywhere in the United States. The reason is electronics are hazardous for landfills. To start, electronics will not break down properly in solid waste landfills. Also, electronics contain hazardous waste, like battery acid, that can leak into groundwater. Items like electronics and batteries must be take to e-recycling centers for proper disposal.
On one hand, refrigerators and AC units are classified as large appliances. Discount Dumpster does not accept large appliances of any kind for disposal. On the other hand, refrigerators and AC units contain Freon.
Freon is a hazardous substance that is harmful to the ozone layer. Also, Freon can leak out of these appliances and contaminate groundwater. This puts people and local wildlife at risk. Items like fridges and AC units must be taken to specialized recycling centers for disposal.
Discount Dumpster's standard rental period is usually 7-14 days. Rental period maximums will vary depending on the service area. However, you are always welcome to extend your rental period at any time! Just know that there will be small additional fee per extra day that you keep the dumpster.
An overfilled dumpster will likely result in a pickup rejection. A dumpster filled past its fill line poses the risk of debris flying off the truck during transport. This puts motorists and pedestrians at risk.
An overweight dumpster will have costly fees tacked onto the final bill. You will be charged an additional fee per extra ton the dumpster is overweight.
