(22 feet long x 8 feet wide x 6 feet tall) – 12 pickup trucks
Measuring 8 by 22 feet, our 30-yard dumpster is big enough to handle your largest jobs. In some cases, this dumpster can fit onto a residential driveway if your driveway is long enough to accommodate both the dumpster length and the room needed to tip it into place.
The 30-yard dumpster has a back swinging door, which makes it easy to load it up from front to back. It has the capacity for an equivalent of 12 pickup truckloads or 180 large bags of trash. All loads must be kept under the 5-ton weight limit or within the edges of the container to avoid overloading.
The average rate for a 30 yard dumpster rental in Salt Lake City ranges from $465 to $615. We customize your quote to allow you the time and service you need to complete your job. We offer a competitively priced flat rate for all rentals, allowing you to save more with us, unlike other dumpster rental companies in Salt Lake City.
Discount Dumpster bundles all rental costs, including dump fees, taxes, delivery, pickup, and support throughout your rental. Note that our 30-yard roll-off dumpster has a weight limit, so when you overloaded it, we may be unable to transport it. This would require an additional dumpster rental charge (charged per extra ton) to handle the excess load.

The Salt Lake City authorities only requires you get a permit if you must place your dumpster on the street or other public space. Also ensure your property not is governed by a homeowner's association (HOA), in which case, you won't also be needing their permission.
However, if your driveway or job site is large enough, it can contain the 30-yard dumpster and you won't need to bother about a permit from the city.
Can I Schedule My 30 Yard Dumpster for Delivery at a Certain Time?
Unfortunately, Discount Dumpster is unable to guarantee specific times of day for delivery or pickup. This is because our services are based on orders. Our typical delivery window is 6 Am -6 PM, Monday through Friday.
But you send in a request for specific delivery/pickup times and our staff will do their best to accommodate your unique rental needs.
Unfortunately, you may not. We will not be able to collect and dispose of electronics, as they are classified as hazardous waste and not suitable for landfills. Items like electronics and batteries do not decompose and can leak toxic substances like battery acid or mercury into the soil.
We recommend that you dispose of your electronics waste at a specialized electronic recycling plant for disposal. To better understand the importance of these rules, check out our guide on where your trash goes in Salt Lake City to learn more.
Absolutely not. You should never fill your dumpster over the edges. This creates problems for us, plus attracts additional charge to cover for additional trips and possible distortion of our delivery and pick up schedules.
Besides, transporting an overloaded dumpster poses safety hazards to motorists and pedestrians. Please note that after a pickup rejection, you will be charged a costly trip fee on top of your initial rental cost.
