To determine if you need a permit, we’ll work with you to figure out the best location to deliver your dumpster. We always try first to place it on your own private property, and in most cases, a permit won’t be needed. But if the container will encroach on a public area like a street, alley, or sidewalk, a permit could be needed. In that case, you would need to talk with the Building and Engineering Department at the City of Riverview for more information.
It is generally acceptable to deposit standard waste and trash in your roll off rental dumpster. However, some material that is hazardous or flammable is not allowed, due to federal and local regulations. This includes medical or industrial waste, used vehicle batteries, bio-waste, contaminated items, propane bottles, paint, antifreeze, motor oil, e-waste, and fluorescent bulbs.
