If your rental dumpster will impede access to a lane, sidewalk, street, or alley, you will probably need to pull a permit. The City of Baltimore offers an easy application for a public right-of-way permit if needed. However, if the dumpster is fully on private property, you probably won’t need a permit. Check with your HOA to see if any other regulations apply.
