As long as your container does not encroach on a public right-of-way, you will not need a permit for your dumpster rentals. This means that if you can place your dumpster neatly on your own property, like a driveway, you will not need a permit. However, please check with your homeowners’ association in case there are restrictions on rental bins. Street and yard placements are generally prohibited without a permit.
