Most roll off dumpster rentals don't require a permit on private property. If the dumpster can be placed in a driveway, you shouldn't need a permit. However, some HOA’s may require a permit or special permissions.
Placements made on public property, like on a street or alley, will likely need a permit. In this case, applications cost a fee of $50. Permits will not be issued for arterial streets or for street placement of a mixed-heavy rental.
